A Summer Letter from Impact100’s President
It’s hard to believe we’re already more than halfway through this year’s grant review cycle. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has dedicated time and effort to this process; we are truly grateful for your hard work. We can’t wait to announce our 2025 Finalists!
Our Annual Celebration is always a special time to honor the incredible impact we’ve made in our community. This year is no exception; we have so much to be proud of. Be sure to mark your calendars for 9/25/25. A night you truly do not want to miss.
Over the past two years, we’ve been focused on strengthening various aspects of our organization, from the membership committee and ambassador program to the scholarship initiative and grant review process. In addition to these efforts, we’ve also been dedicated to developing a thoughtful transition plan for key leadership roles.
We are incredibly fortunate to have a board filled with passionate, committed women who deeply care about our mission. As part of our succession planning, Evelyn’s transition out of the CEO role at the end of her three-year term has always been the goal. To ensure a strong succession plan, the board welcomed me as President of the Board, preparing for this transition. Over the past three years, I have worked closely with Evelyn and am ready to step into this leadership role as the new CEO. I remain committed to growing our organization, driving professionalism, and working with our amazing board and members to continue to make a significant impact in our community.
Additionally, the board has elected Trudi Krupocki as President-Elect. She will collaborate with Evelyn and I over the coming months to prepare for her role. Trudi has been a driving force in the membership committee, investing countless hours to support the growth of our organization. Laurie Salter was elected as VP Grant Review & Nonprofit Support. She will partner with Kim Tucker and the Focus Chairs to lead the grant review cycle. Lisa Lang has assumed the role of VP of Membership and will continue to work alongside Paulette Trainor as we execute our membership growth strategies. With such exceptional leadership in place on our Board, I am confident in the future of Impact100 Sacramento. While Evelyn will be transitioning out of her CEO role, she will remain deeply committed and will continue to support the organization as an advisor and engaged member.
To all of you, thank you for your dedication, passion, and love for our community. Your commitment to philanthropy is making a real difference. In just a few months, we will award an incredible $452,000, bringing our total to nearly $1 million in just three years. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished together.
With gratitude,
Sarina Paulson
President, Impact100 Greater Sacramento
