Meet Tricia Rosenbaum

Tricia is our Family Focus Chair and serves on the Board of Directors. She brings strong operations management and executive leadership skills to Impact100.

Now retired since December 2019, her professional background spanned strategic leadership in the private sector (banking) and the nonprofit sector, including the Nonprofit Resource Center, Next Move, and Safety Center. She has also consulted to numerous organizations specializing in organizational development and process improvement.

Tricia’s volunteer leadership is impressive as she has served on Boards with a focus on seniors and youth, including Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and her all volunteer neighborhood association.

Tricia grew up in North Carolina (still has that southern drawl) where she attended UNC Chapel Hill, and then earned her MBA at Wake Forest University. She moved to Sacramento 25 years ago and has been a force here ever since!

She is married and enjoys spending time with family, including her rescue furbaby, Taylor. She enjoys travel, be it visiting friends in the East or her last BIG trip which was a 7 ½ week journey to Africa and Europe.

Impact100 thanks her for her leadership and contributions!

 Fun Facts:

What is the aspect about Impact100 you are most passionate about?

First I love the results of collective impact – that my small donation can be combined with other donations to influence real transformation in our community is amazing.  And I love that we have a systematic and rigorous process to evaluate grant proposals…while certain causes may pull at our heartstrings, the committee evaluation process insures that our donor dollars are being invested in viable organizations and realistic proposals, kind of maximizing our ROI (Return on Investment).

What is one thing we should know about you?

I was taught at an early age to give of my time, talent and treasure, so I really l try to spend my time in service to others and my community.

If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

My mom, Doris.  She passed almost 20 years ago,and I think she was as close to an angel on earth as you can get.  I don’t think I told her enough how much I loved her and how much I appreciate who she was and how she lived her life – I would give anything to do that now.

What is your favorite restaurant?

It used to be Biba; now I’m not sure what I would pick…probably one of my neighborhood jaunts where it’s laid back and consistently great food and service – maybe Zinfandel Grill for fancier, or Dukes for a pub atmosphere.

What are your hobbies?

I love doing anything that makes our home more comfy and welcoming – we just completed a big home renovation but I’m still doing lots of finishing touches and details.

What is/are your favorite travel destination(s)?

I love Europe because it’s so easy to cover a lot of ground with trains and public transit.

What is a place you haven’t traveled, but would love to visit?

Next up on our travel plans include a train trip across Canada and an ocean cruise from Norway to the Scottish Shetland and Orkney Islands and Ireland.
