Our member highlight for August is Sharon Boatwright – Lead Ambassador – a true go-getter and inspiration to all of us.
Sharon was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, the daughter of an Air Force officer. She currently serves as a real estate consultant. Her real estate career is a major part of her life as she guides individuals and families through important transitions. She is proud to have sold homes to an 18-year-old and an 80-year-old! She uses her creativity as the Sassy CEO Event Strategist to curate unforgettable events.
Sharon is also passionate about helping nonprofits such as Soroptimists, American Cancer Society, AARP, Arms of Love Ministries, and DAWGETTES Women Fellowship.
Her and her husband, Alex have been married for 41 years. She is a proud mother to a wonderful son and daughter, and the joy of her life is her granddaughter Cayden, who lights up every part of her world. She receives inspiration from her 90-year-old mother, who still life to the fullest.

What is the aspect about Impact100 you are most passionate about?
I am most passionate about the power of collective giving and how Impact100 uplifts organizations doing transformative work in our community. I love that we are not just donors. We are collaborators, advocates, and change-makers working together to make a meaningful impact.
What is one thing we should know about you?
In addition to real estate and nonprofit work, I am the Sassy CEO Event Strategist. I believe in creating spaces where women feel empowered, celebrated, and inspired. I bring together style, purpose, and empowerment through every event I design.
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I would love to have lunch with both Jesus and Maya Angelou. Jesus, because His teachings, grace, and unconditional love are the foundation of my life. Maya Angelou, because of her resilience, wisdom, and the way she carried herself with power and grace.
What is your favorite restaurant?
CharQterie is my go-to local favorite. It is more than just great food. It is an atmosphere of warmth, connection, and creativity.
What are your hobbies?
I love cooking with my husband Alex. We enjoy exploring different cuisines and are always up for a culinary adventure. As proud wine “o’s,” we love visiting wine regions and discovering new pairings and the stories behind the bottles. I also enjoy attending jazz festivals, seeing Broadway shows, watching movies, gardening, and curating elevated events and retreats for women.
What is or are your favorite travel destination(s)?
The Dominican Republic during jazz festival season is one of my favorite experiences. It is full of energy, culture, and music that feeds the soul. I also love visiting wine regions like Napa and Sonoma where the scenery and stories are as rich as the wine.What is a place you haven’t traveled, but would love to visit?
Greece is calling. The beauty, the food, the history, and the wine all make it the perfect blend of culture and inspiration. It is a dream destination I can’t wait to experience.
