Meet Morgan Merrill Gonzales!

We kick off Autumn this year by highlighting our resident beauty expert, Morgan Merrill Gonzales! Morgan is an inaugural member of Impact100 Greater Sacramento, serves on our Board, and is the Focus Chair for our Health and Wellness Focus Group. 

Originally from Oroville, Morgan has always been involved in community starting with Girl Scouts. After high school, she headed to San Diego State to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, then began her career in event management and sales. She eventually transitioned into the beauty industry, loved it, and by the time she returned to Sacramento, Morgan had over 10 years in the business end of beauty. Fast forward to 2024, and Morgan has not only been a licensed aesthetician for over 17 years, she owns a well-established facial, makeup and skincare spa, MM Beauty.

Not long after she returned to Sacramento, Morgan met her to-be husband, Blaer, a general contractor, who owns and operates Dynamic Construction Services. The two married and together they are raising Blaer’s 10-year-old daughter, Layla, while running their two businesses.

A former member very involved with the Active 20-30 Club, Morgan decided to move on and was looking for an organization where she could continue giving back to her community. She found her answer in Impact100 Greater Sacramento! Thank you for all the talent you bring to us, Morgan!

Fun Facts: 

How did you come to join Impact100?
I heard Evelyn speak at a NAWBO event and Impact 100 sounded like something I was looking for and wanted to join to give back to the community, but also be surrounded by other women who wanted the same. 

What is your favorite aspect about Impact100?
First and foremost, the awareness and impact we are creating for local non-profits. The fact that we can give these non-profits $100k to create such and impact is amazing and the fact that it is all women is incredible! Second, I love meeting like minded women who are the movers, shakers and change makers of this community. 

What is your favorite restaurant?
Mikuni

What are your hobbies?
Working out, drinking wine, traveling and going to concerts

What are your favorite travel destination(s)?
Anywhere tropical with white sandy beaches and turquoise water

What is a place you haven’t traveled, but would love to visit?
Oh boy, the list is very long!!  Italy, Africa, Australia

If you could have an hour lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Britney Spears…I just want to know why! LOL, but seriously, Oprah. The knowledge she could give in one hour would be incredible! She is my inspiration as an entrepreneur and change maker!

What is one thing we should know about you?
I am a natural born teacher. It’s in my blood. I love to educate people, share knowledge, coach and mentor in a fun way. Helping others succeed is my true goal in life whether it is in business, personal or beauty related!
