Get ready for more July heat – this month we chatted with Gigi Rayford, who is our Impact100 “Renaissance Woman.” It seems she is continually reinventing herself! Gigi has graciously agreed to take on our new “Lunch Bunch” events.
Gigi has a history too colorful and varied to cover in this Highlight, but at the current time she is serving as her daughter, Porsche Middleton’s, campaign manager. Since 2018, Porsche has served on the Citrus Heights City Council, and is now seeking a seat on our State’s Assembly. Gigi and her late husband Leslie, a Sgt. Major in the U.S. Army, also have eight other children, all boys!
Gigi is also an artist, fitting in time to draw, paint and… weld. She has served as the Executive Director of Citrus Heights Arts, an arts non-profit, for over 10 years. In addition, although well-traveled, she has made the amazing commitment to travel for a full month of every year.
When you see Gigi at our next Impact100 event, call her aside to say hello and get to know her better. You’ll be amazed at her history, and the energy, drive and talent Gigi brings to our collective table! Thank you, Gigi!
