Meet Digital Services Chair, Jodi Jackson!

This June we are highlighting Jodi Jackson. Jodi’s career in marketing, advertising and communications and her background in graphic design make her a perfect fit to oversee Digital Services through her position on the Impact100 Board of Directors. Jodi is currently a senior project manager in the Communications division at the California State Teachers Retirement System.

She loves to spend time with her husband Dan and dogs Dory and Izzy. Together, they enjoy hiking, gardening and numerous other outside activities.

Jodi is originally from Sacramento. Although she has traveled the world she has landed back here because there is no place like home.

Why did you join Impact100?

I felt that my knowledge and skills could make a difference. I am a member of the founding board and it was an exciting opportunity to bring Impact100 to our local community.

What is your favorite aspect about Impact100?

The people that I have met. Our board is comprised of some incredible, dynamic, intelligent women who know how to make things happen! It’s so rewarding to work together and see the amazing results we achieve.

What is your favorite local restaurant?

Mulvaney’s. That’s where my husband and I love to go for special occasions. Patrick and staff always do such an outstanding job of creating a special experience for their guests.

What are your hobbies?

I love to be outside – whether it’s gardening, walking, hiking, biking, snow shoeing, x-country skiing or just sitting out on the deck. There’s nothing like fresh air and sunshine.

What is your favorite travel destination?

I love everyplace I visit – whether it’s close or far. I went to Jordan and Egypt last year, which was fascinating. I am planning on visiting Germany later this year, which I’m looking forward to.

What is a place you haven’t traveled but would love to?

Africa – already reading and dreaming about something for 2025.

If you could have an hour lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

My mom (she passed away in 2013).

What is one thing we should know about you?

I always wanted to be a detective – ever since I devoured the entire Nancy Drew series as a child.
