February is an exciting month. We are heading into the final days of our membership drive for the 2022/23 membership season. As you know, we achieved 100 members and continue to build our organization! Our membership drive ends February 28. We will announce the total number of members, translating into the total amount of grant money we will award in 2023, at the Big Reveal event (see details below).
Thanks to those of you who joined us for the Mix and Mingle on February 9. It was great to see everyone, chat with friends and meet new ones. If you were there, you felt the energy and excitement that we are generating in our community. A huge thanks to Brassiere du Monde for hosting us and sponsoring our event.
Payment Program
One of the goals of Impact100 Greater Sacramento is to make membership accessible to everyone who wants to join. To meet that goal, we offered a payment program for the 2022/23 membership season. We will be rolling out more payment options in March. If you would like more information about this opportunity, please email us at info@impact100greatersacramento.org. Our Treasurer, Marcia Maurer, will contact you.
Encourage Nonprofits to Dream
Our first grant application period opens mid-March. Please reach out to the nonprofits in our area and encourage them to dream big. They can go to our website impact100greatersacramento.org/grants, read the eligibility criteria and start envisioning what they would do if their organization received $100,000!
Once again, the deadline to join for our 2023 season of giving is February 28, 2023. Please encourage your friends and colleagues to become part of Impact100 Greater Sacramento.
The Big Reveal
Join us as we announce the amount of grant money we will award to the local nonprofit community. If you have joined a focus group, look for your team table. If you haven’t yet joined a focus group, you will have the opportunity to meet each chair and get more information. (This is an exclusive event for our members, and you should have received an email on February 16 from Evite.
Thank you for your support,
Evelyn Jensen, President
